Hi all. Can anyone tell me what type of resistors are in this PCB from a 1980 Multi-meter please. They have size but not sure of wattage.
Thanks.
H.

The greenish grey ones should be film resistors. No idea if carbon or metal film. I'd guess, the smaller ones are 0.25W and the larger 0.5 or 1W.

My guess would be that, with very specific values like 140.6k, they are metal film. Unless broken, leave them as they are.

Looks like older German-manufacture resistors marked with the older DIN standard for ohms as "D".
Perhaps the PCB and solder joints need more attention than the resistors?

I think that the "D" indicates tolerance, not ohms.
Probably 0.5%.

G'day Hammer,
What switch ranges are these resistors associated with in your Multimeter?
