New (to me) HP3455a problem
« on: May 30, 2018, 02:25:34 am »
Hi, Just received my HP 3455a 2 days ago. Was working fine, now won't switch to "ohms" ,also won't do the
"test" of all the LEDs like it did when I first got it. Actually, quite a few of the functions don't work now. I'm
no Tesla, but I do know my way around a voltmeter and a 'scope.
Any idea where to start? I have downloaded the owners and maintenance manual.
  Thanks, Jeff

Another potential cause - during the shipemt the plug-in boards have lost the connection.
Solution: remove top cover & internal analog top cover and re-plug the boards.
