Li-Ion protection IC- current sensing?
« on: May 26, 2014, 07:51:18 am »
I'm looking at using the BQ29700 Li-Ion protection IC, and I can't quite figure out how it does current sensing. There's no sense resistor, so I wonder if maybe they're using the RdsON of the FET to do the current sensing? That doesn't seem to make much sense though, as the RdsON is different between different kinds of FETs  ???
