Programable DC Load, Silicon Chip Kit
« on: July 12, 2024, 08:19:05 am »
Hi,
Has anyone built the above kit published Sept / Oct 2022, any comments.
I'm considering having a go at it, mainly due cost compared to a commercial unit. Thanks, Alan.

You can just build one with one operational and some parallel mosfets on a radiator and attach a esphome If you want wifi. You have q challenge to set the esp to control the load, but it's not complicated.
If design maters for you buy that one.
I have lot of equipment in my work lab, scpi sw control made by me in Python including gui, zero are wifi-linked.why wifi? If your DUT îs smoking you're gonna stop it with wifi?

Thank you for the reply, certainly some items to be considered before advancing. Alan.
