How to best make AG13 (LR44) dummy battery?
« on: May 02, 2014, 11:27:53 am »
Hi all,
I want to use 1.2V AA NiMh rechargeable battery instead of AG13 (LR44) alkaline 1.5V button battery for little alarm clock.

I tried clock with 1.2 NiMh and it works well (keeps good time for a week already), but I just pushed wires behind battery seat terminals and it is easily disconnected when moved, so I would like to make it with good contacts.

I can probably improvise-design something, but hope it was done before so would like to get some nudge in good direction.

Small block of wood or nylon with a metal plate top and bottom held to it with epoxy or other glue, with wires soldered to it. Cheap and reliable.
