Super Regen for AM

Howdy!
I'l build this FM receiver: http://www.seekic.com/uploadfile/ic-circuit/s20116225058383.jpg (waiting for sockets)
Its a simple super regen circuit which uses slope detection to turn FM into AM.
Would it be possible to recieve Shortwave AM- like 6MHz and up to 7.3MHz.
I would ofcourse change the LC circuit.
