I have a DC PSU (max 15V 60A, 0.1mV 0.1mA resolution with 5½ display and with 5V sense lines.)
I know that shorter cables with bigger diameter is better but how much does matter, within reason?
My question is most if I can place the PSU on the top shelve and run the cables the 10 feet "long" way round or I shall place the PSU on bottom shelve, 2 feet right above the work table?
What thickness is best for the power/sense lines, shielded, twisted, more?
My goal is not to compete with NASA but I would like to know that what I send is what I end up delivering. :-)
