40xx tri state buffer chip? [SOLVED]
« on: February 28, 2017, 05:36:18 am »
**Solved**

I am having trouble finding a CMOS 40xx series tri-state buffer chip so my first question to you is do they exist (in production)?  :-//

And my second question: If there is not such a magical chip, i intend to make a tri-state buffer out of other logic as shown in the attached schematic. What would be the best rating and model of NMOS and PMOS transistors to use for the output stages, as shown?

Thanks!

Yep.
Here at DK:

They must still be in production if DK has 1400+ of them.
