Is there a multitool out there that would be more appropriate for performing small repairs/modifications (mostly plastic) and stripping & crimping small wires like usb cables, etc out in the field?

Essentially what I need is:

Knife (no specific type, but ideally locking)
Scissors
Wire stripper (up to 28 AWG)
Wire cutter
Tweezers
Philips/flat head screwdrivers large and small
Needle nose pliers
Ruler

Second to all that, it would be nice if it had retracting/one hand operation pliers like a lot of the Gerber models I’ve seen or Leatherman OHT.

I don’t see myself ever needing things like a mini saw, can/bottle openers, seat belt cutter, etc. in this multitool, but those tools invariably seem to be included in the majority of multitools.  I don’t need this for camping or anything like that.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

The one I really love is http://www.adafruit.com/products/36 Leatherman es4. Very high quality steel, super sharp cutting tools, and nice precise screw drivers. Doesn't have everything you listed but I think your going to be looking at an awfully expensive multitool for more.

I second the ES4. It is the closest you are going to find I think. There is no one multitool that I am aware of that has everything you want.

Thanks, I have the PS4...got it before I realized there was an ES4..guess I might have to pick up another Leatherman Squirt.

Has anyone tried any of Victorinox's Cybertools?
