Hello all,

I'm looking for a Function generator for my Macbook, using the audio output, preferably independent stereo outputs. Can anyone recommend one?

Further I am wondering about proper interfacing.  I know headphone outputs have a 32ohm impedance, so I will add an appropriate resistor before buffering the signal.  Is there anything else I need to do?  I will probably add a DC offset and gain stage.

Random thoughts:
Are L/R channels of an audio output interlaced?
