Identify all letter on fuses body
« on: July 14, 2020, 02:12:35 pm »
Hello,

I have a glass fuse which have this description on this body "F200mA L250V P".
I can identify this information:

F - represent an rapid fuse;
200mA - represents the maximum of current which this fuse supports;
L - I can't identify this letter. But maybe I would venture to stay that means "general uses";
250V - represents the maximum of voltage this component supports;
P - I don't know.

I don't know who your manufacturer is. This fuses belongs to a multimeter.

Thanks

'P' may mean 'Lead Free', if this is wired fuse (for Littlefuse maker, for example).
To change it you don't need much info. Just find similar size fast blow 200 mA fuse (of cause, 250 V rated).
To identify it totally we need a manufacturer name, but we don't have it.

This Littlefuse PDF might help.  L appears to be a breaking capacity code.
