Just as a heads up. Digital Ocean which hosts atleast the nameservers for theamphour.com is under a DDOS attack -
http://www.digitaloceanstatus.com/history?update=166#77The site appears to be up here as the domain is in my local DNS cache but going direct to the sites ip returns nothing as the server is configured to 301 you to
www.site-ip which of cause is invalid (HTTP response status code 301 is "Moved Permanently" and is used for example when a site changes its URL layout so old links can still work).
What they could do in the future to help migrate this sort of issue is to not rely on just one provider for DNS. eevblog.com DNS is handled by GoDaddy thats why you are still able to connect to this site. If who ever admins the site's domain used GoDaddy's NameServers (theamphour.com registar is wildwestdomains.com who is GoDaddy) as a backup. It would mean unless both providers DNS are attacked at the same time you should still get on the site.
Anyways, as soon as who ever it is gets bored attacking Digital Ocean or if Digital Ocean can migrate this attack the site should come back up as normal.
