Altium PCB rotate component opens dialog box

Hello Members,
Greetings of the day!!
I am looking for altium PCB rotate object to 90 degree by default.
But it instead it opens up a dialog box and ask to enter a value.
I tried to fix it from preferences>>PCB Editor>> General>> Rotation step 90.000
but it is not working.
Can some please help me with this. I am using Altium 14.1.5 and new to PCB designing

While dragging the component, press spacebar to rotate the part 90º counterclockwise.  Shift+Spacebar rotates 90º clockwise.  Does that do what you want?

spacebar and shift-spacebar will rotate by the step set under preferences-pcb editor-rotation step

Yes, I am looking for the one you stated. Pressing spacebar opens up a dialog box to enter rotation step. I want to fix it instead of every time entering value 90 degree or such.

I tried this to set rotation step from preferences, but it didn't worked. Still on pressing spacebar, it ask to enter rotation step in dialog box.
