TRansferring only ONE schematic to PCB document
« on: March 25, 2015, 11:33:12 am »
Hello again, still got basic problems with AD.
I have a PCB Project with two schematic documents and few PCB projects (more than one version :))
When I push D+U - Design -> Update PCB (and choose proper PCB) then all items from ALL schematics are transferred into chosen PCB. But I would like to transfer only 1 schematic to PCB. Where can I find such option?
I tried to search in Google, but nothing interesting found, or just the query was not clear enough to Google.

Thanks in advance.

In this situation, I temporarily remove one schematic from the project. Update the PCB. Then re-add the removed schematic to the project. This is my workaround. I would like to know it it has a proper solution.

cant be done.
you are using it wrong.

a 'Design' in altium is 1 board. not  1 page.

you cannot have 2 pcb's in one design.

Free Electron is correct.

If you have several variants of the pcb (and/or schematic), simply re-save the entire project with a new name.

Then make the variant changes within each project.

This is not only logical but helps you to be quite methodical as well.
