0 degree connector
« on: February 24, 2017, 05:02:51 pm »
I have been searching Digi-Key for a connector with the same configuration as shown below with pins and screws on the front face and wires in at 90 degrees.  I think this would be considered a zero degree connector. Digi-Key lists 45, 90, 180, 270 etc, but not zero.  5mm pin spacing would be ideal, anyone no where I can find these?

Wire to Board terminal block

http://www.digikey.com/products/en/connectors-interconnects/terminal-blocks-wire-to-board/371?k=&pkeyword=&pv89=133&FV=ffe00173&mnonly=0&newproducts=0&ColumnSort=0&page=1&stock=1&quantity=0&ptm=0&fid=0&pageSize=250

That link is 5mm spacing

It may not be obvious from the image that I included that this is not the commonly available wire to board connector, the black connector accepts the wiring, however the signal is passed onto the actual thermostat circuit board (not shown) via pins facing forward (just below the screws)
