Licence free frequency in Peru

hi everyone,

is there anyone here familiar with Peru laws that concern radio transmission is 433mhz is usable there without any formality as it's the case in Europe or no.

simple answer, No , you would need to be a licensed Ham

Neither 433 nor 868 MHz are open for unlicensed (ISM) use in the Americas.

915 MHz should be available for both North- and South America.

Thank you guys,

i found a document from the communication ministry indicating that 915Mhz is the band intended for industrial, scientific and medical. however i can't find any tx power limit.

totally hate regulation stuff  |O

I'd start by checking the US FCC for documentation. Odds are that the Peruvian regulations will be similar.

Normally, the ISM bands allow 1...10 mW ERP, there might be a few frequencies where 100 mW is OK.

I won't go further with this, it's up to you now.

yeah got an answer from Peruvian telecommunication ministry  10mW is ok no authorization needed.
above that a permit is needed.
